Arghh...  I am Betty Rubble.  I bought a new computer with Windows 7.  Downloaded (purchased from Microsoft) Office Home & Student 2007.  I read onlin it is supposed to have a mail program that replaced Outlook Express.  All I can find is the Live Mail program utilizing hotmail, gmail etc.  I want an email program that is similar to OE.  Not an online thing like Live Mail.  Does anyone know what I am referring to?  I sure appreciate the help

Christina

As “Ron of Canada” has mentioned Office Outlook is not a part of Office Home and Student 2007, but you can use windows Live Mail in Windows 7 to set up your email account, to do this follow the below steps:

    1.       Click Start -> Getting Started-> Get Windows Live Essentials.

    2.       Click On Download-> run and follow steps in the wizard.

    3.       Once the installation is complete, Click Start -> All Programs-> Windows Live Mail.

    4.       Set up your email account correctly.

If you want to use Office outlook 2007, check the link below to purchase a standalone version.

    Hope this helps.

What you read is incorrect. Live mail is available free of charge.

What you might be thinking of is Office Outlook. It does not come with Home and Student but is available as a standalone product. It also comes standard with other versions of Office such as Professional or Standard.
