If you're referring to removing a Monster.com template from your File New dialog box, you can right-click the template and then click Delete.

If you installed the Monster.com add-in then open Programs and Features in your Control Panel and uninstall Monster Resume Easy Submit. Then you should verify uninstalling it actually removed the add-in from Word:

    1. Click the Office Button
    2. Click Word Options
    3. Click Add-ins
    4. Make sure Monster Resume Easy Submit doesn't appear in the Active Applications Add-ins list. If it does then:
    5. From the Manage drop down near the bottom, make sure COM Add-ins is selected and then click GO
    6. Deselect the Monster Resume Easy Submit add-in to disable it

As a side note, I can see Microsoft allowing Monster.com to add templates to the Office.com Template gallery that have macros, but I wonder if they know one of their macros installs an add-in that's actually located on the Internet....

If the Monster.com add-in was installed you'll see Monster.com content when you open Word on the Add-ins tab. However, it has nothing to do with the Normal template and deleting it will not resolve the issue.

Are you getting the monster.com content when you open Word?

If yes, try deleting the default template for word by following the steps below.

    1.     Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run.

    2.     Type in %Appdata%\Microsoft\Templates.

    3.     Delete the file Normal.dotm.

(Note: Make sure that the file Normal.dotm is backed up before deleting it)

It is probably in the Word Startup folder which will be located at

    c:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\Startup

Use Windows Explorer to go to that folder and delete it.
