PowerPoint file is too big for an e-mail

I made a powerpoint slide show file~49MB (with a sound) and I can't attach it to my e-mail-It's TOO big.

What is the maximum size I could use?

How to avoid this problem? Thanks

    Probably the first thing to do is make sure you have Fast Saves turned off. Tools -> Options -> Save.

    The size of an attachment that can be attached in an email is illicit to your email service provider.

    Typically 10 mb is the permissible size of attachments from any internet service providers.
