I get the abover 1706 error and I went to the MS Support site (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/297834) and tried the: Use an Alternative Network Administrative Installation but I do not how to do it.

I am on MS Office 2007 trying to install Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010!

Help please. I need step by step instructons. I am running Windows XP SP3. I meet all of the other systems requirements.

I DO NOT have the CDROM for this software. I downloaded it from the MS HUP website.

    Do you have any other Office suites installed? Uninstall them and try

    again.
