only datasheet view available

I just installed Office Professional Plus 2010, and, in Access, only the datasheet view is available.  I click on "View" on the "Home" tab" and only the datasheet view is available, and I double-click on a table, then right-click on the tab, and only the datasheet view is available as a choice (not the layout and design views).  Also (and I have no idea if this is a related issue) "Relationships" on the "Table Tools" tab is greyed out.  I need both of these to finish work on a many-to-many relationship between two tables and a junction table (I'm trying to set up the primary key in the junction table).  HELP!!!!!!  Thanks, Kerry

Well, I did some hunting around and found the solution: in the Navigation Pane, I single-clicked on table I wanted to open in design (or layout) view, then I clicked on the "Create" tab and I clicked on "Form", and, poof, there were all the attributes of design and layout views that I could hope to use.  I will say, though, that the "Relationships" control under the "Database Tools" is still greyed out -- I'll try to scare up the solution to that mystery, too, but, if someone out there wants to save me the legwork, I sure would appreciate it.  Cheers, Kerry

Opening a form enabled the datasheet view option for me but I still have no design mode and relationships is still greyed out. Incidently this only happens in the downloaded "Goods" template database I got from the file/open section.

Right click on the selected table in the Nav pane and select Design View
