I've done something that changed the way the cursor moves within the spreadsheet, and I don't know what I did or how to return it to normal movement.

My problem was solved by turning off "scroll lock", which I'd apparently inadvertently turned on. It's amazing how convoluted and unhelpful MS "Help" is!
Indeed - the scroll ScrLk key was a culprit in my case so when the arrow keys suddenly move the entire page up-down; left-right then deactivate the ScrLk key to enable moving the cursor within a wsheet. Thanks!
I'm glad you posted this; I was working in Excel and suddenly the down arrow key no longer moved focus from the active cell to the cell below it. I read a whole lot of forum entries about the Excel Options Advanced setting for controlling the Enter key, which is not at all what I was looking for, before I saw this reply. Pressed the Scroll Lock key, and sure enough, my arrow key works as expected again. I never would have thought of it.
