Hi,

We have 2 node hyperV failover cluster with OS windows server2012 R2 datacenter.

Now we are trying to add one more server to cluster but getting error "You do not have administrative privileges on the server node3"

We have formatted the server and installed fresh OS and hyperv, failover cluster role but still same.

Kindly help us to resolve it.

User is having domian admin and domsin administrator rights who is trying to add cluster.

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having issues related to adding node to Cluster.

Users account to create cluster requires administrative permissions on the servers that will become cluster nodes. It also requires Create Computer objects and Read All Properties permissions in the container

    1. Please check if the account is added in the computer OU (which contain the this of the nodes by default) security and give full control rights:
    2. Try to Add third node from different Node.
    3. Please restart Cluster service.
    4. Disable any Antivirus program or Windows firewall you may have for temporary purpose.
