How to make a flyer or poster with "Pull-Tabs" or Tear-Off Tabs" with Works 8.5

Original title: MICROSOFT WORKS WORD PROCESSOR QUESTION!!!

I have the 8.5 Version of Microsoft Works Word Processor

I was just wondering if you might be able to tell me if there is a way to be able to turn the page so that I can type on it the landscape way instead of the portrait (normal) way and if so how? Thanks! I have some projects that I'm working on that requires this, and it would be so much more help to me and much much easier to be able to do this instead of write it out by hand as I'm a professional.

For the above question as well, is there a way that I can type so that when I type that one letter will go on top of the other instead of straight across and if so how?

How can I set the cursor  to go as close to the top of the page as possible and to the bottom of the page as possible?

How can I set tabs?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated very very much! Thanks!

To make a flyer or poster with "Pull-Tabs" or Tear-Off Tabs"  with Works 85 do the following:

Create the content of your poster/flyer and at the bottom, create a series of text boxes. In the boxes, type the contact info that you want somebody to take away with them.  It will be faster to type once and then copy & paste to the other boxes.

Then, Rotate the text boxes and change width & height if necessary.

    Click the text box.

On the Format menu, click Text Box .

    Click the Size tab.

In the Rotation box , type or select the degree of rotation you want, from zero (0) to 359.  You'd want 90.

    Repeat for the remaining boxes.

OK, now I figured it out. Here are my instructions on how I did this. Hopefully it will help you out too!

First, set the page to Landscape this way:

    File

    Page Set Up

Click the Source, Size, and Orientation Tab

Under Orientation, put a dot where it says Landscape and Click OK.

    Now type up your Ad

    Now Click Insert

Click Text Box and a square box with 8 tiny black squares will appear on the outside of the box.

Now move it to the bottom of the page by putting the arrow on the tip of the line of the box until you see four arrows going left to right and top to bottom.

Now Click and hold down the left side of the mouse to pull it down to the bottom of the page.

Now click inside of the box to start typing your contact information.

Now you may need to Stretch it to the right a little bit to make it all single lines by putting the arrow on the right side of the middle tiny square until you see arrows going left and right and then pulling it slightly until you see the letters form a single line by letting go and checking as you do so.

Now Right Click inside the square to rotate it 90 degrees by going to the bottom and Clicking Format Text Box.

Now Click the Size Tab and change the 0 to 90 where it says Rotation and Click OK and you‘ll see that it rotated it.

Now Highlight all the letters inside the box by putting the cursor at the end of the last letter of the last word and hold down the Shift Button and press the Up Arrow twice.

Now Right Click and Click Copy.

After the last letter of the last word, hit the Enter Button twice and then Right Click and Click Paste etc for each.

Before you move on any further, you will need to Stretch the Text Box all the way over to the right and left side of the page as described above already.

Make sure all of the little tiny black squares are visible on every side before you do this or it won’t work at all!!!
