Is it possible to create side by side pie charts in Excel 2007 (ie, a "pre" and "post" group using the same legend)

I'm trying to create side-by-side pie charts to show pre vs post data. Since it's the same color-coding for both, I'd like to use the same legend for both charts so I can save space and make the charts a bit bigger (for example, put the charts side-by-side and the legend below them in the middle). I can make the two separate charts and then just delete one legend and move the other one toward the middle, but it makes it tricky to get them sized the same and is a bit complicated to work with.

Is there a way to create them in one chart window so I can easily copy and paste into a PowerPoint? Thanks!

Create the first chart, resize to size you want, create the second chart and resize. You can then select both charts by holding down the ctrl key, right click and select Group from the menu to Group the charts together. You can then copy and paste the two grouped charts into PowerPoint. When pasting the charts try using the Blank theme for the slide format.

So glad it worked! I know it can be tedious grouping them together and then pasting in to PP, but it should work.

This seems like it's going to work perfectly and I think I'll just create a separate text box for the legend so I can place it where I want. Thanks for your help!
