MathType error message when used in Word

Am trying to resolve Error Message: MathType has detected an error in.Error running cmd=MTCommandsMain_MTPlaceRef_Main mod = in RunMTDLLCommand: Application-defined or object-defined error. Please save your document and report this error to Design Science Technical Support.

MathType recommended

Please perform the trouble-shooting steps as outlined in this article from Microsoft and let me know the results:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/921541

This did not resolve the problem.

    Seems like the most logical thing to do is to continue the conversation you've already begun with Design Science Tech Support. Why stop now?

    Although he's using that screen name, he signs posts with his own name. I don't understand the move to these strange screen names occasioned by a move to the forums.

    Try and make contact with Bob Matthews at Design Science.  He has been very diligent at resolving issues with their software.

    Have not stopped.  Just do not expect that Design Science (MathType) will provide a solujtion as the error appears to be an application defined error.
