Embed visio drawing

When I copy a figure in Visio and paste it in Word, rather than showing the figure it will put {EMBED Visio Drawing.11} .

How can I make the word to show me the figure rather than embed drawing?

Hi rezakn

The { EMBED ... } "thingy" means that field codes are being displayed, rather than field results.

Press Alt+F9 to toggle the field codes back to the Result mode.

Background: Word manages non-Word information and dynamic information (such as page numbers) through fields. For trouble-shooting and fine-tuning in a document, it's useful to be able to view and manipulate the underlying field codes. That's why this functionality is there :-)
