Printing on Note Cards

When I try to print on a note card, I cannot get the text to be in the proper pane.  There are 4 panes to a top fold note card and instead of printing in the pane, it prints sideways no matter what the orientation is.  I did find:Greeting cards in Publisher are set up to be printed on letter-size paper. After you print the card, you need to make one fold in the paper for a half-page side-fold format, or you need to make two folds in the paper for a quarter-page, side-fold card.  Does that mean it will not accomodate note cards?  I have tried custom sizes, existing templates, Avery, and still cannot get it to print propercly.

File, Page setup, Advanced on the right. Select Folded card, select Quarter-page top fold. Publisher will query about four pages.

Page three is usually left blank in this setup. Page four will have your colophon, For example, "This card is created by Me", this should be dragged to the bottom of the page.

The page setup in publisher needs to match the paper size used for printing.

In case the note card is created in a different page size, you will need to resize the data in the publication to fit to page.

Following steps will guide you on how to check the page size in publisher:

    1. Open the publication already created.
    2. Click on 'Change page size' on the 'Task Pane' on the left side of the document.
    3. Choose the exact paper size that you will use to print the document.
    4. Click on File > Print > Paper Size> choose the same paper size used for printing.
