How do I make an upside down question mark on MS Word 2010?

I am trying to make an upside down question mark in a Spanish document and I can't find the symbol in the symbols list.  Can I add a symbol.  I have tried to use alt + something but that doesn't work either?  I may also need to make the upside down exclamation point.

Thanks

The inverted question mark is Unicode character 00BF. You can use Insert | Symbolto find and insert the symbol, or you can type 00bf and press Alt+X, but you don't have to do either because Word has a built-in keyboard shortcut for this character: Alt+Ctrl+? (that is, Alt+Ctrl+Shift+/).

The inverted exclamation point is U00A1 or Alt+Ctrl+! (Alt+Ctrl+Shift+1 on U.S. keyboards).

You can type 00bf (or even just bf), then press Alt+X.

Or turn on Num Lock, then press Alt+0191, using the numeric keypad for the digits.

Or hold down Alt and Ctrl, then press ? (i.e. Shift+/)

Or activate the Insert tab of the ribbon, click Symbol > More Symbols..., locate and select ¿ and click Insert.

Let me give notice of my settings:

    1.) I'm using a Mac computer.

2.) The software I'm using is: Microsoft Word for Mac 2011 (Version 14.7.7).

3.) I also have the language set at Spanish.

This only thing that worked for me was pressing SHIFT+ALT + ?  simultaneously. This gave me the upside down question mark ¿

    In other words,   SHIFT+ALT+? = ¿

With all of the yearly updates things are sure to change but, I hope this helps.

The default Save shortcut in ALL Office applications is CTRL+s.  If your version of PowerPoint saves the active presentation when you use CTRL + ALT + Shift + ? then the keyboard shortcut must have been customized.

I held down the shift key on the left, then pressed the ? mark key.
