I have a massive workbook with all worksheets linked between themselves. Quite often I need to keep switching back and forth between two random sheets researching some information. I always use ALT-TAB shortcut in Windows to switch back and forth between windows in Windows and was wondering if there is a MS Excel shortcut to do the same with the worksheets. Thanks!

Try opening a New Window under the View tab. This produces a duplicate of the file you are working on and then you can Alt-Tab between the two sheets.

The file name in the New Window will have a "2" added to its file name.

Be sure to close the file with the "2" in its file name first, because if you dont all the formats and view setting of the "2" file will be saved to the original file, which may not be what is desired.

There is no need to save anything in the "2" file as it is being recorded in the original file that you also have open.

Good luck I hope it helps, even though it is a couple of months after your original post

Thanks. I knew about this shortcut. The problem is that when I have 20+ worksheets and have to switch back and forth between the first and last, let's say, CTRL-PgUp/Down doesn't work too well, because it only allows to go to the next/previous worksheet in a way they are positioned in the workbook...

There are Arrows just to the left of the sheet tabs. If you right click on those tabs you will get a listing of all of the sheet tabs. You can then just pick from there...
