I just started using Microsoft Office 2010.  The Alt key no longer disables Snap To Grid as it has always done with earlier versions.  How can I disable Snap to Grid?

Well 6 years later, I have the Problem all of a sudden. Alt-Key to disable snap to grid worked just fine for me. Now neither the Alt-key has any effect, nor disabling snap to grid/objects. Oh wonderous Microsoft. Things work for 10 Years and then stop working for no obvious reason.

I know holding the ALT key down is SUPPOSED to disable "snap to grid", but it is NOT working with the new Office 2010 Power Point.  Does anyone know why it is not working?  Has anyone else had the same problem?

Disable Add-ins in PowerPoint 2010, open PowerPoint-> Go to file-> Click on options-> select Add-ins towards the left hand side-> Click on go on COM Add-ins-> Uncheck all the Add-ins and check.
