Explanation of Effect Options

Hi - there are some new effect options available, but I don't know what they mean. Can't find a Help topic to explain them, and haven't seen a post -but, I may be searching for incorrect keywords.

I was wondering if someone could explain these effects (or, point me in the direction of a web article): with a Fly In Entrance effect applied, you now have ""smooth start", "smooth end" and "Bounce end" options. If these were available before, I never used them, and don't know what they mean.

Thanks for any explanation!

Tammy

    Hi,

Smooth start/end option has been available in PPT 2007 too. Bounce end is new to 2010. You can either opt for the bounce end or smooth end. Smooth start/end controls the inital/final speed of the animation.

    Hi Shyam,

Thanks very much for your response. Still not sure what the purpose of these effects are, though...they are so subtle, except for Bounce - really do not understand the purpose of that one! :) I guess I thought there was more to them and that I was missing something. Thanks, again, for taking the time to respond!
