    I presume you don't have it on your keyboard. It has the ASCI code of 92, so you can generate it by holding the ALT key down and typing 092 on the numeric keypad, which may be marginally quicker than Insert | Symbol.

    I use the key just below the 'Backspace' key. If used with Shift returns the pipe sign.

    I've Dell Latitude E6410 with a new backlit keyboard that was purchased from the USA. [very pleased with it ] run my keyboard on United kingdom Extended, and have found that; Fn + Left Alt + 92 = \ that the end of my worries.

     hope that helps at less one person.

    No that not working here.

    the other thing that should say is that the 92 is typed on the Fn keys

    What is the shortcut key for ?


    You can either use from keyboard having symbol '' or from excel >insert > symbol> '">ok

    Both are same.

    Dear Jackpot,

    I often try Insert->Symbol to use it. I wanted to ask if there is any shortcut key that may be used to enter "" in any cell?
