How can I download microsoft powerpoint 2007 on my computer?

I've tried to download microsoft powerpoint 2007 several times on my computer and it keeps saying there's a problem so what do I do?

    Exactly what steps have you taken to "download" powerpoint? Please give is the exact text of the error message. By download, we techies normally mean copy a file from the internet to your local HD. But I suspect you are trying to install PowerPoint.

    What is the version of Operating system (Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7)?

    Adding to Rhon’s suggestion, ensure there are no multiple versions of Office installed on the computer.

    You may use the Microsoft Fixit tool to uninstall the Office suite:

    You may also try installing in clean boot mode and check if this helps.

    For windows XP:

    For windows 7 or Vista:

    Note: After you have finished troubleshooting, reset the computer to start as usual
