All of a sudden I get the message that the PRO11.MSI file is missing when trying to download updates.  I tried the detect and fix option of help from word but I get the same message.  I do not have my original CD.

Pro11.MSI file is an Office 2003 Installation File. Corruption in the file leads to problems with Office Installation.

Without the disk the Office 2003 Installation cannot be repaired, so try to get hold of a disk for Office 2003 Professional.

I am 65yr old retired. I also lost the file PRO11.MSI after a windows update on 07.27.2017

I have my email account through office on outlook. I open an outlook account and add my .cox.net account and have lost all previous mail correspondence.

Does any  know how I can get this back without having to buy a whole new program/version of office.

Not helpful because pro11 is not on original install disk!

I had problem after  windows 10 update. It occurred in a new account that I set up. The other account is OK and does not have the error "the feature that you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable."

Microsoft is dodging the issue. Why do I have to buy the current version of office when 2003 is quite useful to me?

    Planned obsolescence?
