Office Picture Manager won't print my pictures.

Three days ago Office Picture Manager stopped printing pictures (HP laptop/HP C4450 Photosmart printer/Windows7). I can still download and edit the pictures. I CAN print the pictures in Picasa. There does not appear to be anything wrong with my printer. Why can't I print using Office Picture Manager anymore? LeeBeeGus

What happens when you try to print from the Picture manager.

Try changing the default printer to Microsoft XPS:

    1.       Click on start > devices and printers.

Right click on Microsoft XPS document writer and set it as default and check if it helps

I am embarrassed - while I had changed the default printer, I forgot that there was yet another place (on the printing option page where you choose the size print you want) that I had to indicate the device I wanted to print out on...I forgot to change that to the default printer and everything was in the que back on the other printer. So thanks to all who provided feedback regarding checking out the default printer again. LeeBeeGus

I have several photo viewers and editors on my computer including: Photoshop, Paint, Picasa, Apple Q Picture Viewer, Windows Photo Viewer, and Windows Live Photo Gallery, but my favorite for quick editing and printing was Microsoft Office Picture Manager 2010.  I can still edit with Office Picture Manager, but it won't print.

My printer works fine with other applications, and I can still print with the non-Microsoft editors,

but the Microsoft photo editors ( Windows Photo Viewer, Windows Live Photo Gallery and Office Picture Manager)  will not print.

The think the Mocrosoft editors stopped printing following Microsoft security updates on 1/11 , but I can't figure out a connection between the two.

I've checked all my setting,  I checked the print que, and I did a System Restore to a date prior to the last updates, and nothing corrected the problem.

I'm having the exact same problem with my HP C5550 printer + Windows 7.   Like  LeeBeeGus, I can edit pictures with Office Picture Manager, but I can't print them.  I can print pictures with Picasa and Photoshop, and other applications on my computer, but Picture Manager will no longer print.  It worked before, and it suddenly stopped working.  *** I checked the print driver, and it's OK.
