Want to make cells automatically expand down to fit more text

I don't want text to go into the next cell to the right, I want the cell to expand down to fit additional text

    Go to format-cells, choose alignment. Check wrap text. Then the cell will expand downward as needed AFTER you press enter.

    One way:

    Choose Format/Cell. In the Alignment tab, check "wrap text".
