The Office installation might be corrupted that is the reason there is an error while repairing Office.

Uninstalling the Office suite will not lead to data loss, Uninstall the office 2010 suite using the ‘Fixit’ and re-install it on the computer

Note: Ensure you have product key and disc or download file for Office 2010.

Uninstall the office 2010 suite using the ‘Fixit’ and re-install it on the computer and see if it works fine

Wow, this is a tough one. Since you haven't received any responses yet, I'll post this link -- perhaps it will help you isolate the issue. http://www.0xc0000005.com/

According to this it could be any of the following (or even other things, many of which are also listed):

    Malware or Virus

    Bad video drivers

    Antivirus software

    Incompatible printer drivers

I would start by running a virus scan with up-to-date signature files on your antivirus software.

Then I'd run some malware scans -- like Malwarebytes or something.

Then I would run Windows update to make sure you have all the latest service packs installed for Windows.

Then I'd run a repair installation of Office 2010 from Windows Control Panel, and finally then I'd try running PPT.
