how to open xpi files

i down loaded a program which is in xpi format.

 can u help how to open it.

    An XPI file is usually a Mozilla/Firefox extension.  You'll need Firefox in order to make use of it.  It has nothing to do with Microsoft Office, so I'm unsure why you asked this question in an Office forum.
