text in table does not appear in Print Preview and does not print

I have a several page document that contains several tables containing pictures and text  in the table cells below the pictures. There are 4 tables with pictures, the first table with its pictures and text work, but subsequent similar ones do not show text in Print Preview or Print. It is possible to place text later in the document which does appear in Print Preview and does print.

Hi Bernard,

Since one table is appearing fine, ones in the middle aren't, but then everything straightens out later then I would guess you have a corrupt table.

By chance are there unresolved Tracked Changes in this document? If there are ... resolve them and see if that fixes the problem.

The next thing is to figure out what's different about these subsequent tables. Are they formatted differently? Were table styles used on these versus the one that works correctly?

You might try creating a clean freah table and inserting the data in it. If it works correctly then something's definitely corrupted the other tables.and you'll probably have to recreate them.
