A few times I have pressed ctrl-alt-hypen by accident and ended up with a big minus sign for my cursor.
I also noticed today that if I press ctrl-alt-+ I get a big plus sign for my cursor.
I worked out I can get rid of this by pressing escape, but I'm curious, what is it for?

Within Word 2002 / 2003 / 2007 Ctrl·Alt·+ is the shortcut to Customize Keyboard and Ctrl·Alt·- is the shortcut to Customize Remove menu (Ctrl·Alt·= is Customize Add menu).
