HI! I'm taking a logic class, and we need to use a horseshoe symbol in an assignment. Can anyone walk me through inserting the horseshoe symbol in word 2011? I can't even find it in 2011!!! In previous versions you had the option of looking for additional symbols - is that available in this version?

 Thanks!

Use Insert | Symbol | Symbol to open the gallery and choose More Symbols... from the bottom. This opens the familiar symbol dialog, where you can search for and select the needed symbol. Note that the contents of the gallery represents the MRU panel at the bottom of the Symbol dialog, so once you have used a given symbol, it will appear in the gallery until displaced by other more recently used symbols.

These instructions are for Word 2010, but if you are actually using Word 2011, then you should post at http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mac/forum/macword.
