where is the view tab so I can choose whole page option

I am looking  to change my view to one page so the entire document is displayed in the document window.

Microsoft 365 and Office | Word | For home | Windows

    There is no View tab in Word Starter, but if you click on the percentage figure next to the Zoom slider on the status bar, you will open a dialog that allows you to select "Whole page" (or you can probably achieve this just by adjusting the slider).
