Inserting dots between text on same line.

I need to insert random shaped dotted lines in between text that is both right and left justified so you eye can run across the page from left to right.  When I change the border selection to insert just a bottom line, it makes a full dotted box.  I would like to have a dotted line automatically appear between the text.   Any suggestions?

Left text........................................................Page #2, etc.

Left Text line 2............................................Page #3, etc.

Left text line 3, etc......................................Page #4, etc.

Each line will have a different length in dots, so is there a way to do that in Word 2010?  Thank you.

You need to set a right-aligned tab stop with a leader. Select the relevant paragraphs, right-click and then click the Paragraph option on the context menu; Word displays the Paragraph dialog box. Click the Tabs button. Specify the desired type of leader and choose the right-aligned type of tab stop. When you are done, click Set, and then close the dialog box.

See Formatting in Microsoft Word. Although written for earlier versions, the tab setting process is essentially the same
