Bulleted list into two columns while other text is in single column

I am making a new resume in word. I have one bulleted list I would like to be formatted into two columns. However, the rest of the text on the page needs to stay in a single column. Is there a way to do this?

Insert a continuous section break (from the Breaks dropdown on the Page Layout tab of the ribbon) before and after the bulleted list. You can then set the bulleted list to use two columns.

You can't have columns within columns,

As an alternative, you could create a table with one row and two columns where you want the bulleted list. Use each of the two cells to enter bulleted items, and set the table to have no borders.

I want to do this within a column that is already part of a two-column format.

Essentially, I have a bulleted list of small words and the list could take up half the space in the column if it was double column, but the column itself is already part of a two column format...
