I have MS Publisher 2002. What is the highest version I can upgrade to, and how much will this cost?

There no longer a discounted "upgrade" path. Now that they feel they have us fully "addicted" they are charging full price.

You can buy it standalone or as part of the "Professional" or "Professinal Plus" Office Bundles. Here is a page listing the apps in the various bundles:

Here is a link to the MS Online Store page:http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/list/parentCategoryID.37286600/categoryID.50726400

Note, there are 3 ways you can get discounted Office Pro Plus bundles.

HUP (Home Use Program): if your employer has bought the right type of volume license, you can get the best deal at no additional cost to them.

Academic: if you are in a "qualifying" post secondary educational institution

Military: if you are active service or vet you can get discount.

Note 2: AVOID the Product Key Card "Scam". I call it a scam because most buyers are not aware of the limitations of the license they are "paying" for by the trivial price discount.  PKC is a single computer license. When the hardware dies, so does the license.  Retail licenses allow you to install on 2 or 3 machines at the same time and to transfer those installations to new computers when needed.

Note 3: when buying Retail, buy the Boxed CD version rather than online download. Download is convinenent, but is usually same price as Boxed CD version. Then you have to pay roughly USD$25 additional for the backup disk. At some point in time you will have to re-install Office. Many people with online download do not know to keep the installation file for later use. So when they re-install Windows, they have to BUY Office AGAIN!
