I use Microsoft Office 7 and need to change my line numbers font to coincide with the rest of the document. How do I do that?

The line numbers are in a style called Line Number. It's normally hidden so manage styles is the place to find it. In the styles pane, click Manage Styles > Edit tab. Switch the sort order to alphabetical, locate and select the style, and then click modify.

I am not finding "manage styles" and then the "edit tab" in Word 2007. Thus I cannot go to the next step.
Yes, that works too, though I never think of it.
To get to the Styes pane go to Home tab > Styles group, and click the arrow in the lower right corner of the group. From there, click Manage Styles > Edit tab. Switch the sort order to alphabetical, locate and select the style, and then click modify.

Ok, I figured it out for Word 2007.....
Go to Change Styles > Fonts > Create New Theme Fonts > choose which fonts you want for both Heading Fonts and Body Fonts > Save!!!
My line numbers changed! I couldn't find the panes/tabs with the other directions.
