Office 2010 shows "Trial Period Expired", but was never a trial. I have activated it (successfully) several times, but it still shows "trial". How do I remove that "trial"

I'm not being blocked from doing anything, just noticed when in help, it shows "trial expired". I had to format/reload Win 7 a couple of months ago and had to reinstall Office 2010 Home & Business. How do I get the "trial expired" off?

For whatever reason, this time when I clicked on the "trial expired" box, it gave me the the drop-down option to remove the trial and it worked.  I guess this was the Professional trial that gets installed with the Home edition. I'm not sure why it wouldn't give me the option to remove before.

    Thanks everyone for the responses.

Thanks for the reply. I did all of this before I posted here. Also, If there had been one on my pc, it would have been wiped out when I formatted by c-drive and reinstalled Win 7 a couple of months ago. As I said in my post, I can use the Suite with no problems, it just shows "trial expired" in the help screen without the "uninstall trial" option.

Thanks for the reply, but the problem is, there is NOT a trial installed on this pc. And even if there was a trial installed, it would have been wiped out when I formatted and reinstalled Win 7 a couple of months ago. As I said in my post, I can use the Suite with no problems, it just shows "trial expired" in the help screen without the "uninstall trial" option... strange.

New computers often come with a time limited "free trial" of Office. If you actually install a copy of Office and try to activate it, often the trial will intercept the activation attempt, but not actually activate itself too. The fix is to uninstall the trial, repair the installed copy then activate the installed copy again.
