Spell check underlining correctly spelled words in the notes page of only one slide within the same entire PowerPoint presentation.

In my PPT, only one slide seems to be having the problem. 90% of the words, which are correctly spelled, are underlined as incorrectly spelled words. I've double-checked the language for the notes master and within that slide itself (I think), and it all says English. It's strange that it only occurs on the one slide. Any experience with this? Suggestions?

Thank you for your reply and suggestions.

It was a reused slide from another presentation. But they all were, and only this particular slide is having the issue. And as far as I know, the original was created in English.

When I right-click on the underlined words, Spanish alternatives do come up, so I've been searching for anywhere and everywhere that may have Spanish selected....but I've found nothing amiss.

I did insert a new slide and recreate, but the exact same issue came back. So strange!

I think I will just have to move on for now, and start completely from scratch on the next one.

    Very strange, nonetheless.

Did the slide also insert a new master or layout. Did you check the language there?

Was the particular slide, a reused slide (copied from other presentation)?

If yes, in which language was the slide created?

Try to recreate the slide and check if it works fine.
