Original Title:"Customize drawing object"

Hi everyone,

If I draw a rectangle object in Word, is it possible to delete one of the edges? If yes, how would I do this?

Appreciate any assistance.

Yes, but the tools you have to work with are a bit 'clunky' :-)

    1. Right-click the edge of the rectangle
    2. Select Edit Points
    3. Right-click the side you want to remove
    4. Select Delete Segment

You'll probably need to use the 'handle' at the end of one of the remaining segments to square the shape. Once you're done there are a number of formatting options (such as Fill Color) that you won't be able to use on the shape.

    Regards,

    Bob J.
