Hello! I want that every time I type a given word, the MS Word automatically turns it into italic for me. Is it possible? Maybe with a macro?

Hello! I want that every time I type a given word, the MS Word automatically turns it into italic for me. Is it possible? Maybe with a macro?

Type the word, format it as Italic and then select it and then click on the Office Button and then on Word Options and then on Proofing and then on AutoCorrect Options and with the AutoCorrect tab, the word that you type should appear in the Replace section.  Click on the Formatted text radio button (and the word in italics should appear in the With section) then click on Add.  Then click on OK and exit from the Word Options facility.

Thereafter, when you type the word and press the sapce bar, the word will be replaced by an italic formatted version.  If sometimes you do not want the italic version, immediately after that version appears, click on Undo.
