    Hi,

    1. What is the version of PowerPoint installed on the machine?
    2. What is the exact error message that you get when you try to access the file?
    3. Libvlc.dll is related to VLC player. Do you have any audio or video file attached to the file?

    I  HAVE MICROSOFT 2010. WHEN I TRY TO OPEN A PPS FILE I GET THIS ERROR MESSAGE.......EMP.EXE-SYSTEM ERROR.  PROGRAM CAN NOT START BECAUSE LIBVLE.DLL IS MISSING FROM YOUR COMPUTER... THANKS

    I get this message when trying to open pps file.Here is what Iget.....EMP.EXE SYSTEM ERROR...PROGRAM CAN,T START BECAUSE libvlc.dll IS MISSING FROM YOUR COMPUTER.Is there a way to fix this,is there a download I need out there?  LENNY

    Its caused, as a result of, a program you installed, possibly a media/vidio program
