I have a problem in changing the font style for a legend of chart in Microsof Excel.

For example, the legend is as " Thickness, t₁ = 100 mm "; where, the " t₁" need to be in italic font style.

But, it can not be done to do so.

Can Microsoft's officer help me to solve this problem?

Thank you.

You cannot format individual characters in a legend entry.

You could display the series name in data labels instead. It *is* possible to format characters in data labels.
