How to I convert my .pib files to word for mac. 

I am a new apple user. :-)

Nothing opens .pub files other than the program that creates them -- MS Publisher. There aren't even any other Windows programs that handle that file format.

The best you can do is to Save As in Publisher to create Word documents & hope for the best... which most likely will not be very good. You'll lose any graphic content as well as most layout arrangement.
