    Hi,

    Thank you for asking.

As I understand you are trying to install Office 2010?

Which Office 2010 edition are you trying to install (Office Home and Student 2010, Office Home and Business 2010, Office Professional 2010)?

Are you trying to install Office 2010 using the disc or the downloaded setup file?

    Method: 1

If you are downloading the installation file then:

Check the size of the downloaded file.

    Right click on the file,Properties.

If the file size is less than the usual download file size, then download the file again.

    Method: 2

If using a disc, create a new folder on the computer, copy the entire contents of the disk to a new folder on the desktop and then run the installation from the setup file from the folder and check if it works fine.

    Method: 3

You may start the computer in clean boot to check if any non-Microsoft application is causing the issue. Follow these steps to start the computer in clean boot:

    · Press the ‘Windows + R’ key on the keyboard.

    · In the ‘Run’ windows type ’MSCONFIG’ and click ‘Ok’.

    · Click the ‘Boot’ tab and uncheck ‘Safe Boot’ option.

    · On the General tab, click to select the option ‘Selective startup’, and then click to clear the option Load startup items check box.

    · On the ‘Services tab’, click to select the ‘Hide all Microsoft services’ check box, and then click Disable all.

    · Click OK, and then click Restart.

Note: After you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to boot to normal startup.

    · Press the ‘Windows + R’ key on the keyboard.

    · In the ‘Run’ windows type ’MSCONFIG’ and click ‘Ok’.

    · On the General tab, click the Normal Startup option, and then click OK.

    · When you are prompted to restart the computer, click ‘Restart’.

I hope this helps. If you need any further information, you can always reply and I’ll be happy to help you.

    Thank you.

Yes. I install from downloaded setup. I installed it over and over on my old version operating system. ( windows 7) But now there is a problem. When I install any office 2010 product it says: setup cannot find that file. Browse it.

    Thanks I will try them.
