While using malayalam unicode fonts in Msword some chillu letters do not either appear or change .Especially when i use Karthika font in windows Xp version. Please help

When I type malayalam in Ms word using Kartika font some chillu letters are not clearly typed and they are found in changed pattern.  for exampe  I type അവന്‍  it will appear as  അവന്. How to avoid such automatic changes taking place in Msword when I use unicode fonts such as Karthika.

    Yes.  Microsoft is not supporting our Malayalam Language in Unicode.  I am having 15 years of experience in using Malayalam in computing and if Microsoft need I can suggest improvements. I have both technical and user level knowledge with Malayalam computing. There are some issues related with Malayalam Language to be rectified. If suggestion are welcomed modification will be discussed.

    Are you experiencing this issue only in Word or in other applications like Word Pad, Notepad or Internet Explorer as well?

    From where did you download and install the Karthika font?

    Do you find this pattern change with any other font?

    Can you upload the sample data file that contains the Karthika on SkyDrive to verify?
