How to use keboard to move object in large increments?

In PPT 2004, I was able to use Command-Shift-Arrow Keys to "jump" an object in larger increments.  Now, in PPT 2011, that key combo adjusts the size of the object.

Is there another key combo that will accomplish the old "jump" function, or is there a way to create a custom key combo?

I am a creature of habit and am getting sick of re-sizing objects that I am trying to move across a slide!

Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately that was lost as was Grid adjustability with the introduction of Office 2008. If you'd like to have the capability restored please use Help> Send Feedback to support your need for it.

In the meantime the best alternative I've found for bigger moves in one direction or another is to constrain the direction by holding Shift while you drag.

Yes, the arrow keys move the objects, but with older versions of Office, you could move them in bigger jumps by using the arrows plus command-shift.

I'm hoping there is a way to regain this functionality in Office 2011

    Hello

This is not really "large" increments, but selecting the object and using the Arrow keys moves the object around on the slide. I'll look to see if there is another way to move besides using the mouse and dragging the object around.

    Thanks...
