All the text after a 2"nd" or 15"th" are made smaller...

How to I make the text following those letters full size?

what is it called when those letters are reduced in size?

I could not even find directions on the internet because I don't know the "magic" word for that change of size to the ordinals ad how to make it stop formatting all the text that follows in that smaller and raised form.

    The magic word is "superscript."

Click the Office Menu (Button on top left of screen) then Word Options>Proofing>AutoCorrect Options.  On the AutoFormat and AutoFormatAsYouType tabs, unckeck the option to to replace ordinals with superscript

The st, nd, rd and th shouldn't convert to superscript until after you type the following space.  If everything you type after st, nd, rd, or th is converted to superscript then there is something wrong that I don't understand.

You can toggle back to normal script text using CTRL+SHIFT+"+/=" key

     I'd found that (under tools)

so, my only options are to have all following text in superscript or none at all?

I'll take none at all, but, it seems like there is something missing here

Thank you, of the pros do not know of a more effective way, there is probably not a more effective way

Click on the Office button and then on Word Options in the bottom border of the dialog and then on Proofing and then click on the AutoCorrect Options... button and in the AutoCorrect dialog, go to the AutoFormat tab and remove the check mark from the box before "Ordinals (1st) with superscript".
