I never (ever) use titles or subtitles, so I'd like for PPT to always open (or insert new slide) as a "blank" presentation.  Please help!  :) thank you!

There are more complicated solutions but it seems pretty simple and quick to just:

    Start a new presentation

Press Ctrl+A (to select everything on the slide)

    Press DEL to delete

Then when you insert new slides, choose the Blank layout, which won't have anything on it.

    Chez

In 2010 you can save a blank slide as a potx file named blank. I don't think this works in 2007.

Shyam has a free addin which should do what you need,
