I would like to be able to edit or modify a PowerPoint Show file *.pps or *.ppsx.  So I suppose I need to somehow convert it back to PowerPoint Presentation *.ppt or *.pptx in order to be able to do so.  How could I go about it?

    Start PowerPoint.

Choose File, Open and browse to the PPS/PPSX file you want to open.

It'll open as any normal PPT/PPTX would.

Save as either PPT/PPTX or PPS/PPSX, depending on what you want to have happen when someone doubleclicks the file in the future.

    Thanks a lot.

It is so simple.  Why didn't I think of that before?
