Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Thank you.
I have already run the fix it without resolution. The computer is only on the internet, it is not on a domain or a workgroup.

Office 2007 Enterprise Edition - Site License - Installation attempt from server, usb drive, and installation files copied to hard drive
System was installed on the Netbook but due to a hardware issue the OS was reinstalled from the installation directory. NO Office products were included in the reinstall. Office had been installed from the same installation files on the PRE-Reinstalled system.
AVG was installed and then removed after Microsoft Security Essentials was installed. After Microsoft Security Essentials and Skype, this is the first software installed on the system.
After receiving the above error, all steps for removing Office were implemented with every step stating that no files were found. The registry was scoured manually to determine if there were any entries.
The installation files have been verified to work on another system that has Office 2007 installed and on another system that does not have it installed.
Are there any other reasons this installation will fail like this? Does Office 2007 affect the MBR or any other part of the hard drive to leave a trail of itself? Are there any suggestions? This installation configuration has worked on this machine for 3 years and on similar machines without issue.

The setup.exe file is 453kb. The file runs without any difficulty, without maintenance mode, without error on six other systems it has now been run on. It has been run successfully on systems both with and without Office 2007.
Thank you.
Once again, the installation works absolutely fine on hundreds of other systems. That is the setup.exe file from the installation CD which was placed on the server. There is no file of 502 mb on an Enterprise site license installation system. That file, the README.HTML and the autorun.inf are the only files in the root directory. There is not another "complete installation package". This problem is not an issue with the installation files. There is a leftover MBR fragment, switch, or other hidden item that is blocking the installation. I need to know what may have been left on the system with the reinstallation of the system directory.

Hi Lawrence,
Thanks for posting.
Size of Office Enterprise 2007 setup file is 502 Mb. The file which you’re executing could be a file that accesses the setup file from different and then tries installing.
As you’re unable to install the Office suite through the 453kb file, I suggest you to try installing the Office suite through the complete installation package file and verify the result.
