How do I turn the numeric key pad on and off on a Mac Pro Quad Core with the provided keyboard using Excel for Mac 2011?

My keyboard does not have a number lock key that is identified.

    Excel does not control the keyboard in that regard.

    Apple keyboards do not [typically] have Num Lock markings because there is a separate set of navigation keys. Most Mac users use them rather than toggling a Num Lock on/off, so the keypad usually remains in a numeric mode.

    If you prefer having to toggle back & forth, use Shift+Clear... I just reconfirmed it here in OS X 10.6.8 but I'm assuming it still works in more recent releases of OS X.

    As Apple states...

    "Mac Pro ships without a keyboard or mouse, allowing you to use ones you already own or buy any you choose. Or you can purchase an Apple wired or wireless keyboard, which will be shipped separately from Mac Pro."

    Without any idea which keyboard you opted for or how you've configured it in System Preferences all I can do is guess: Try fn+F6

    Anyone have an update for a MacPro running 10.9.3?  Control + Clear doesn't seem to do it for me.
