Some trendline options are unavailable on my data when on mac, but available when on pc

I've got some data that I've been working on both at home (Mac) and at school (PC). When I try to add a trendline on the PC, I can choose any type (linear, moving average etc), but at home (Mac), the power and exponential options are unavailable. This is the exact same dataset, so I'm sure it's not that there's something crazy about the numbers that makes an exponential trendline impossible to calculated. It turns out that the power trendline is the best fit, so I really do need this option (not just annoying, but it's also impacting my work).

Any tips on a workaround, or what might be causing this is greatly appreciated!

The Power trendline is not available if any y or x values are zero or negative.

The Exponential trendline is not available if any y values are zero or negative.

I suggest you take a second look at (a) the source data, i.e., which cells are referenced for the chart data, and (b) the numerical values in those cells.

And, of course, be sure that you're using the XY Scatter chart type.
