What is the default column width and row height for Excel 2013? Does the size change with the different versions of Office 2013. For example is there a difference in these settings between Office 365 and Office Professional?

Hi... thank you, but this did not answer my question. I want to know what the default column width and default row height are in the blank new workbook file. I am finding it differs between users and for training reasons I need to know the answer. Does the version of Office 2013 make a difference in these settings?

    Hi Linda,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft community and We will be glad to assist you with your concern.

As per the description provided, you want to auto-fit the column width and row height. Let me help you with this issue.

Expanded columns cannot be reset to normal position by default. However the row height can be set to default position.

The options to AutoFit Row Height and Column Width is available in Home tab, click the drop down for Format.

Hope the information is helpful. If you need further assistance, get back to us and we will be glad to assist you.

    Thank you.
