I can see MACROS in both, the VIEW and the DEVELOPER (here CODE) tab, but in both its not activated. I tried Options and Settings but it will not be activated. The functions I can use are USE RELATIVE REFERENCES and MACRO SECURITY. How to activate record macros, macros and visual basic in Excel 2010 (Beta)?

    Go to start, run

    Type appwiz.cpl and click ok

Select microsoft office 2010 and click change

Select add or remove features and click continue

    Expand office shared features

    Select visual basic for applications

Select run from my computer and click continue

Finish setup and test again to see if macro functions enabled

    THE BEST!!!

    WORKED PERFECTLY!

I couldn't create any macro because always pop up the error saying the name of macro wasn't correct.

Now I can create as many macros as I want!!

    Thank you sooooo much!!!

Did you save as a Macro Enabled workbook?

    1. Click the Office button and then click Save As.

The Save As dialog box appears.

    1. Enter a name and select a location for your workbook.
    2. Click the Save as Type drop-down arrow.

A list of file types appears.

    1. Select Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook (*.xlsm).

Excel adds the .xlsm extension to the filename.

    1. Click Save.
