Error 1704, Microsoft office single image 2010

My word and excel stopped working for no reason, I have Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010, I bought it after I bought my computer, it has worked for two years or so and isn't working now. I've tried to do this as well, doing the reinstall and the repair. It does not work. It keeps saying "Error 1704..An Installation for Microsoft Office Single Image 2010 is currently suspended. You must undo the changes made by that installation to continue. Do you want to undo these changes?" I don't know what any of that is, but no matter which i choose (yes or no) it doesn't work at all. It freezes or the troubleshooter pops up and it shuts down my computer. I'm very frustrated, i don't understand why something would be suspended? I need answers badly, i'm a college student and use these constantly. Thanks.

"Single Image" refers to the installation file used at the factory to install all 3 retail trials at the same time.

Please confirm that this error occurs even after you have booted the computer recently.

Here is a possible fix for a 1704 error

    Code 1704

I installed Microsoft 2013. The process stopped for a long time, so I canceled the setup. However, the cancelling of the setup also jammed, so I used task manager to stop the task. When I tried to install again, the error showed up. Thanks.
